CONDITIONS
A valid certificate showing up to date vaccination for the yearly booster and vaccination against Infectious Bronchitis (kennel cough) must be produced on admittance.. The kennel cough vaccination must be given no less than 5 days prior to your dog coming to kennels. We will not accept any dog into these kennels without proof of vaccination
Owners warrant that any dog left in our care is fit and healthy or that the Kennels are made aware of any existing conditions, or previous conditions that may recur and of any traits or vices the dog may have.
Note we reserve the right to refuse entry to any dog suffering or suspected of suffering from any infectious illness prior to or including the day of arrival. If your dog has been ill prior to coming into kennels, it is always worth discussing the matter with your vet.
Owners accept that in the event of any actual or suspected injury or illness the provision of veterinary care will be provded by our designated vet currently Glenythan Veterinary practice. Vet bills are the responsibility of the pet owner but for conditions arising during boarding these are normally recoverable through the kennels insurance. NOTE. Pre-existing conditions are not covered.
We are happy to dispense medications/creams to dogs in our care, full written instructions to be provided by owners on their dog's arrival. It is to be understood that every care will be given for the dog's welfare but the Kennels do not accept responsibility should anything happen while in our care.
A contact telephone number or details will be requested, either for the owners or a designated person in case of any emergency. However, should a situation arise there will be no delay getting treatment for a dog in our care if required, whether we have details or not.
FOOD
A selection of foods wet and dry are provided and we will try to keep to your dog's normal feeding regime as much as possible, if you wish your dog to remain on a food we do not stock then this must be supplied, however, there will be no reduction in fees. Please let us know if your dog has any foibles regarding eating habits - we have had a couple who would only eat off the floor or paper - and especially if your dog guards his food! We have stainless steel bowls for feeding so it is not necesary to bring your own.
